Here we are again, and today the main character of our recipe is Espresso Pods Classico! Banana-coffee smoothie with orange juice is a drink that will wake you up better than coffee! And if you don't like coffee, don't worry, you can just pretend it's a tropical fruit smoothie with a caffeine kick. It's easier to prepare than doing your hair on a bad hair day. So put down that brush and let's get blending with Classic Pods by BOSECO!
By the way, for this recipe you'll need classic espresso pods, preferably Espresso Pods Classico, so your smoothie can taste as smooth as possible. But if you can't find them in your kitchen, any coffee pods by BOSECO will do (just please don't tell the recipe creators, or they'll be disappointed).
Here's what you'll need:
- Espresso Pods Classico (but you know the drill - if you don't have them, we don't tell the recipe creators, but quietly substitute them with other coffee pods and pretend it was always the plan)
- Banana - 1 pc. (170 g)
- Orange juice - 100 ml Honey or sugar to taste
So let's get started! Take a pod out of the package and insert it into the coffee machine. Press the "on" button and wait for the machine to do its magic. Meanwhile, peel the banana and cut it into large pieces. Leave one piece for decoration, or just eat it, we won't judge.
Mix the sliced banana, orange juice and prepared espresso in a blender on high speed. If you want the drink to be sweet, add honey or sugar to taste.
Finally, pour the finished drink into a glass, add a cute little umbrella if you have one (because why not?), and enjoy your delicious and energizing smoothie. Who needs coffee shops when you can be your own barista?
And don't forget, the star of the show - Espresso Pods Classico - can only be purchased on coffee shop, while the other ingredients can be found in your local grocery store or fridge.
